Omg I love the beginning of Unrooted. You write so well and the atmosphere is so captivating. I wish you the best luck, Sarah. I’d love to read your series <3

Oh my goodness! I thought I had answered this ages ago! Thank you so much for the compliment, nonnie! I have a slower week this week so I hope to chip away at the beginning and try to write some more. ^_^

I believe you didn’t make a call out post, but I’d like to send my challenge reads for December anyway. Those were “Mirage” by Somaiya Daud, “All Out: The No-Longer-Secret Stories of Queer Teens throughout the Ages” by Saundra Mitchell, “Forest of A Thousand Lanterns” by Julie C. Dao, “Sisters of the Winter Wood” by Rena Rossner, “Every Exquisite Thing” and “The Bane Chronicles” by Cassandra Clare and “The Darkest Part of the Forest” by Holly Black (reread). I enjoyed the challenge so much!

Oooh this sounds like a fantastic list! You’re right, I did forget to make a call out post in the midst of the holiday and some personal issues going on, but I’m glad you remembered to let me know! I really appreciate how involved you’ve been all year, and I know there are some you’ve read that I plan to get to in the future. Happy New Year!

Oh thank you so much for your recs ! I will try them as soon as I have time ! I’ve already said it but I really like your blog, I always check your month reading and recommendation and I’ve discovered a lot of interesting books through them !

You’re very welcome! Thank you so much for the nice note. It’s honestly so great to know that people are reading and enjoying the blog. ❤ Let me know what you think of these if you get a chance to read them!

Happy New Year, Sarah <3 I'm so happy FFFT and Rec Day are staying! Also looking forward to your retelling reviews!

Thank you!! I’m really excited for these things, too, especially the retelling reviews. I think it will be a fun way to merge my required academic work and my hobbies. I’m not totally sure yet, but I think the first one will be East by Edith Pattou for FFFT next month!

Thank you so much for this new edition of FFFTs Sarah <3 Thank you so much for all the content you put in your blog. Not only I'm learning so much. Your posts also inspire me to create stories <3

You’re very welcome! I’m so happy they inspire you to write, too! I honestly love hearing that the same stories I cherish so much inspire others to write in the same way they inspire me. If you ever finish anything, I’d love to know about it!

I’m sorry that you’re going through this. I hope this get so much better. Best wishes, Sarah <3 I want you to know that I feel very grateful for all your posts here. I've learned so much about folklore and diversity from you.

Thank you, nonnie. ❤ I really appreciate your kind words and support.

How are you doing, Sarah? <3 Hoping to hear great news about your series <3

Hello there! I’m doing all right. I’m at the American Folklore Society Conference right now and I’m halfway through Day 1. I don’t have quite the stamina I did last year, but the event itself is great.

I got some bites during #DVPit on Twitter yesterday, and I just finished an important revision that I think takes Unrooted to the next level. Thank you for the good thoughts! ❤
